But which way are they looking?!
Despite three years having passed since the release of the song and the corresponding debut album, Geidi Primes, "Venus in Fleurs" has made a comeback via its newly released video. The video, created by the aptly named Video Marsh, was created from footage shot at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary in British Columbia. Despite the video being entirely spun out of bird movements, it remains haunting (what's creepier than birds?) and interesting throughout - no small feat for such repetition. The release comes on the heels of yet another Tumblr "FU" with Grimes releasing it despite its in compliance with 'press cycles.' We're glad she did.

Girl, there's an owl on your head.
A further and more in depth look into Azealia Banks' mind than her Twitter battles afford, the official video for "Yung Rapunxel," her first single off her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, is insane. The video is an eclectic mix of creepy owls, lips as eyes (there's a real eye-centricity?) and a furry bra that's entrancing even amid the twisted imagery. The track with a yelling, angry, manipulated Azealia fits the Jam Sutton video in a way to make the whole thing even creepier. She also rides a mechanical bull at one point so that's worth the view.
Nicki channeling Ray Charles
Just one week after releasing the glamorous "High School" video with co-Young Money member Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj is back at it. The Grizz Lee directed "Up In Flames" video fits the slower tempo of the song with low lit scenes and a black-clad, blonde-haired Minaj. Shots cut to bikers displaying their talents for the little lady and images of Minaj in the studio display her talents for viewers. The video as a whole shows a much more pointed, grown-up Minaj with less of the pageantry and gallantry of her former days. PR move, anyone?

Digging Alice's new purple 'do
Why so sad though? Crystal Castles releases a video for their track "Sad Eyes." The super fuzzy, lo-fi production is as chaotic and unpredictable as their live performances (minus the broken bones). And slightly disturbing shots, seem totally appropriate when considering the lyrics: Feign care and warm concern/The kiss you did not earn/Discourage affection
Looking to catch "Sad Eyes" live? Crystal Castles just announced new tour dates for Europe, Mexico, and the US. For now, watch Alice and Ethan get dark and creepy in their new video below.
Did Sasha Go Hard film her new video in a dorm room?
Sasha Go Hard's new video for "Pretty Fly" isn't what you would expect from a typical rap video. There are some flashing colorful sunglasses, some hipster looking dudes dancing around and an adorable Sasha Go Hard enjoying every moment of it. It kind of reminds us of being in college--nothing was perfect but we made it work and we had fun doing it. Take us back to school, Sasha.

That's a pretty extreme haircut, SBTRKT
In a sci-fi barbershop splattered with blood, the heroine of SBTRKT's latest music video is brutally dissembled. "Trials of the Past" is a visceral narrative that packs the experience of a feature film in under 5 minutes. That kind of depth and carefully thought out artistic approach complements SBTRKT's musical style. The London-based DJ, alongside collaborator Sampha, made this moody electro song almost 2 years ago and it still sounds fresh. SBTRKT proves that you don't have to churn out albums full of filler--2011's self-titled studio album has produced both a track and music video we won't forget for another couple of years.
