Okay, it's probably beef but you get the point.
"Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that's the look they were going for—they achieved it," was the statement PETA released after seeing the latest issue of Vogue Japan which features pop star shocker, Lady Gaga, wrapped in nothing but raw meat. Of course this shoot was designed to stun readers, and PETA's president, Ingrid Newkirk, detected this as easily as the rest of us. "Oh, Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body," she told the Daily News. However, we're not really sure why PETA isn't pleased with this shoot, if anything doesn't this turn people off of meat?
Also featured in the September issue of Men's Vogue is Jo Calderone, who has been dubbed "Lady Gaga's counter part." Calderone went sans veal cutlet for his piece.
