Franco shows off his guns in Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers Spring Breakers is an amazing film that will introduce Harmony Korine to mainstream audiences and redefine the careers of Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson. It's an archetypal adventure full of nudity, looped dialogue and bong hits. The cinematography creates a new world and the soundtrack supplies that world with a new language. How do we know this? We saw Spring Breakers at the Toronto International Film Festival right after it premiered in Venice. Trust us, friends. Harmony Korine kills it. In an interview with Indiewire, Korine said, "The movie is about energy more than anything, a feeling, what happens when you get lost. It's not about spring break; it's about when you drive a couple miles away from spring break and you're out on the boardwalk by the beach in this weird, fucked up, drunk place." Watch a scene from Spring Breakers below where James Franco shows Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson all his gangster stuff. The film will be at cinemas again in spring of 2013.
