Put a bird on it
Looking out your window, it may not appear to be bathing suit weather, but we can guarantee there is a beach somewhere that is yearning for these suits. We Are Handsome consistently puts out swimwear we want to slide into. The prints are made from photographs that range from cars to animals and for Cruise 2012 the standouts are made with an eagle image. We've never wanted a bird on our butt so badly.

Cruise this Shakuhachi cruise collection and plan your next cruise
Thank Australians for supplying us with warm weather eye candy during our darkest months. For their cruise 2012 collection, Shakuhachi goes poolside while the rest of us are flooded street side. The lookbook shows off an eclectic assortment of lace shift dresses, embroidered maxis, crystallized cut-off shorts and floral bomber jackets. There's also a healthy dose of swimwear that features bright colors, retro cuts and cut-outs. This is a beach to bar collection that makes it okay to wear bikini tops even when it's not laundry day.

Beth Richards is butterfly stroking her way through the swimwear industry. Having just launched her self-titled bathing suit line with spring/summer 2012, the Beth Richards collection has already graced the pages of French Vogue and the webpages of Net-a-Porter. Beth's focus? To make women feel confident in their own skin (and her suits).

Swimming with the lions on beaches and in cities
Last week, Australian high-end swimwear label We Are Handsome debuted their Spring/Summer 2013 collection for Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Australia. The collection they revealed is absolutely stunning. Photographic prints of wild animals, sunset-lit beaches, hazy palm trees, and girly florals leave us gasping for more--not to mention the retro halter cuts and deliciously flowy skirts. The diamond gown, especially, with its brilliant jewels scattered like snowflakes across an elegantly draped body, is sure to have heads turning on the beach.

Rachel Comey introduces swimwear just in time for summer swimming
Rachel Comey is hopping into the water with you this summer. Launching their first ever swimwear collection, the line includes retro-inspired one-pieces and bikinis--one of which features a landscape collage print by Rosemarie Aubersen. With classy cuts (i.e. not too much booty) and subdued tones, this is the kind of swimwear we can see ourselves wearing on that yacht for our summer vacay (right). It will probably be more like when we hop on the A train to head out to Rockaway or when we finally find that friend with a pool in the city. Though, really wherever there is water, these Rachel Comey suits will work.
