Vans Authentic Tie-Dye

Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013
Hippies don't wear shoes but... Solidifying this summer as the summer of love, Vans has released a hippie-hyped version of their classic Authentic silhouette. Totally trippy. The purple, pink and blue tie-dye scheme is available for men and women of the nostalgic variety at Vans outlets for $55. Accents are white including the laces, tag and midsole. The California brand also released a round of psychedelic tie-dye prints for Spring 2013.

Supreme x Commes des Garçons

Tuesday, March 19th, 2013
Talk about collaborative effort The new Supreme x Comme des Garçons Spring 2013 Collection--rivaling the sold-out capsule collection of yesteryear--doesn't stop at the union between Japanese and New York design. Vans, probably feeling left out, has also come aboard with versions of their Half Cab and Era styles featuring the polka dot print the collection presents. Let's not stop at three too-cool brands but also throw in the all reaching Chloë Sevigny, a brand herself, and the sk8r boi Jason Dill to star in the collab's Sense lookbook. Phew. The collection itself is centralized around the repetition of a polka dot print over a camo background. Supreme contributes its Box Logo tees and signature hats.

Supreme x Vans Floral

Monday, March 4th, 2013
Holy heck these are hot Forget sk8r boi. This one's for the gals. Vans, in an appropriate celebration of impending floral reproduction (we call it spring), is releasing a capsule collection with skate/hip-hop brand Supreme contrasting the very effeminate flowers of oil painting of old with the classic Vans shoes SK8-Hi, Chukka and Era. The floral arrangement is a rendition of French artist Henri Fantin-Latour's "A Basket of Roses" remastered for New Order's 1983 album release of Power, Corruption & Lies--because that's obviously what flowers bring to mind. The collection will be available for purchase in-store in New York, Los Angeles and London, as well as online, on March 7. Via: Hypebeast
