Opening Ceremony’s F/W '10 lookbook makes us want to bypass the Baywatch bikini season and fast forward to dreamy, pencil skirt-clad fall afternoons. Looks range from Russian babuschkas to 1990’s heroin chic. The latter partially due to model, Yuri Pleskun's poses. (Why is his torso unable to counteract gravity?)

Over-sized trench coats, folksy billowing skirts, lace-collared baby doll cardigans, and slouchy ponchos. This is what we wish we’d found in grandma’s attic when we were little girls playing dress up, and why we still go to thrift stores, in hopes that one day we'll stumble upon a collection of perfectly mismatched treasures like these. (Instead of the usual moth-eaten socks, flared jeans, and actual junkies that lurk inside Salvation Army walls.)
