Just like beer and nachos, skateboarding and acid pair well

Matt Box, a graphic designer, illustrator and recent University grad, has a new project aimed at transporting the styles of influential skateboarders’ back to the 60s. The new series, “Acid Drops” is made up of short animations drawn and painted in watercolor—the first featuring famed skateboarder Jason Dill. Matt’s intent was to “psychedelically capture” the skaters and present them in watercolor format to highlight the fluidity of their movements. The first installment took about a month to complete and can now be found all over the interweb.
