Brits on Brits on Brits

British model Agyness Deyn has been the face of Doc Martens for a few campaigns now, but this time she's fronting her own designs for the label. And while it's not the most surprising collaboration we've seen yet, we are intrigued by the campaign video, which is less about the clothes and more about capturing the brand's inimitable spirit and tying that in with the UK model.

The plot loosely follows a road trip. Aggy and her gal pal hop in a car, spray paint a wall in an abandoned building,  pool hop in their clothes, ramble through desolate California and dye each other's hair. Just another Saturday hanging out around town, right? The disenchanted youth tip is a little past relevant for a 29-year-old super model, but the film encompasses a beautiful aesthetic, and the clothes had us pausing the film to stare a little closer. It's Brad Pitt/Juliette Lewis and Johnny Depp/Winona Ryder circa '90s re-invented. And judging from our pauses, that means grunge-ified quilted jackets, plaid jumpers, and daisy prints. Oh yeah, and boots.
