News__ Lifetime S/S ’13

| By

A clean, modern reconstruction of tropical wear, with a hint of humble prep

The designers of Lifetime Collective immersed themselves in the heart of Thailand to flesh out the essence of their spring/summer 2013 collection, which we were given glimpses of back in July.

With the women's collection, you get a sense of the bohemian traveling back roads on bike, who breaks for a fancy cocktail, or two. Breezy casual yet chic tops in foam whites and soft-creamy blues, shy but fun jumpers, soft-florals, and tailored shorts standout as season musts. For the men, Lifetime Collective channeled the bustle of Bangkok into strong, flowing, transitional pieces that ease from casual beach to downtown club by marbled knits, herringbone terry, and a heritage suede varsity jacket.

Garnett Jewelry hopped on board and collaborated with the s/s '13 jewelry collection. Expect hammered stud earrings, hand-painted pieces, artisan craftsmanship, and crystal pendants.

Lifetime Collectives more youthful menswear line, Uniform Standard, is back this season as well, with design influenced by the aesthetics of skateboard, music, and urban art culture, and three outdoor pieces in a collaboration with Oregan based camp-gear company Poler.

Preview some of the s/s ’13 collection shot in Thailand below (you might recognize the model Aiya, she's Editorial Director Hana May's sister)! The collection will be available in February.
